Vice President, Subsea, bp

Ila Glennie is bp’s Vice President of Subsea. She leads a global organisation that engineers, procures, constructs, operates, and maintains underwater production and pipeline systems, and manages survey and positioning and subsea vessel execution activity for the company. In this role, she drives safety and quality in delivery, development of technical capability and the application of underwater technology. During her career she has focused on building engineering excellence as an engineering leader in operations and on multiple major projects around the world, and as a senior lecturer in subsea engineering at the University of Aberdeen.
