Dr Xudong Jing has distinguished himself as an engineer and engineering leader through innovation, R&D and engineering practices that have made significant impact in the energy business. He pioneered the development of innovative recovery processes such as carbonate reservoirs and polymer enhanced oil recovery in challenging environments to improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. His recent achievements also include reducing project costs through technical innovation and project integration. He has also been initiating carbon capture, utilisation and storage efforts to support industry’s drive to reduce GHG emissions while providing essential energy supply during the energy transition and net zero journey.
