Dr Pratima Rangarajan FREng

CEO, Climate Investment 

Dr Pratima Rangarajan has built and leads a $1 billion climate fund investing in decarbonisation solutions for high-emitting sectors like oil and gas, heavy industry, transportation and built environments. Operationalised in 2017, Climate Investment is considered a pioneer in using systems-level analysis to deliver measured, assured greenhouse gas emission reductions. Prior to this, Pratima led General Electric's energy storage startup and onshore wind product management. She was also the Deputy Chief Technology Officer and Vice President, Research and Development, for Vestas Wind Systems. Her early career involved R&D in General Electric's global research where she worked at the interface between chemistry, physics and optics.
