Dr Chris Robinson is recognised internationally as an expert in turbomachinery and for having built up PCA Engineers, a UK-based SME, into one of the world’s leading, independent consultancy businesses in gas turbine and turbomachinery design.

The company provides turbomachinery designs, including centrifugal and axial compressors, fans and turbines, for a wide range of applications, from power generation and engine boosting, through to medical devices.

He has supported the enhancement of workflow and methods development into multidisciplinary design, developing staff to the benefit of UK-based expertise, and more widely via dissemination through publication.
