An eminent senior leader in the Defence and Aerospace development and manufacturing sector, Colin Paynter has distinguished himself in leading some of the most challenging space programmes mounted in the UK.

As the Managing Director of Airbus Defence and Space, he led the largest space engineering and manufacturing company in the UK and the 3rd largest supplier to the UK Ministry of Defence. He has held pivotal roles in a number of Government Committees, furthering the national prosperity agenda. He is now Head of Space UK for Airbus.
