Leigh-Ann Russell has been deeply involved in design, construction and operation of oil and gas wells for 17 years before taking on executive leadership roles with a global remit. In her role as VP for Technical Functions and performance, Leigh-Ann had accountability for 650 staff spanning ten locations. In this role, she was accountable for Engineering, Operations, Personal and Process Safety, Global Exploration, Business Functions and BP’s transformation and strategy for its $4B global wells business.
She now leads BP’s global Procurement and Supply Chain with accountability for $17B of external spend spanning all of BP’s Upstream business.
