Trevor Gill spent a large part of his career in research in the cellular radio industry and is a world-class expert in the field of radio access. He has made outstanding contributions to the development of radio technology within Vodafone and his technical contributions have been crucial in the major decisions that have to be constantly made in this rapidly advancing business.

Working with universities in the UK and internationally, he has been a leader in defining and proving the technology that will evolve through LTE into 5G. He devotes time and energy into encouraging young people into an engineering career.
