Executive Director, Product Engineering, Jaguar Land Rover

Nicholas Rogers is a passionate advocate of engineering and has played a major part in shaping Jaguar Land Rover's pioneering product line up, helping the company to invest around £50 billion into the UK in the last five years. With over three decades of experience in the automotive industry, starting in Rover in 1984, he has held numerous roles to deliver various products and engineering programmes during that time. He is now responsible for Jaguar Land Rover’s global engineering operations as Executive Director for Product Engineering.

Since starting the role in 2015, he has led the engineering team to deliver a host of new Jaguar Land Rover vehicles, including the first Jaguar SUVs (F-PACE and E-PACE), the brand new Range Rover Velar and the all-new Land Rover Discovery, as well as electrifying both brands with the pioneering new Jaguar I-PACE and the Range Rover Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV). During his career, Nicholas Rogers has instilled a thirst for technical knowledge and championed diversity within the engineering community, something that he continues to support every day.
